contrariness and smiles

Today has been pretty easy. Woke up this morning had a great cup of coffee (I make good coffee, even if I do say so myself). Fed the Teddez (da cat) and sat down in front of morning show in order to get the weather. You see, I live in Los Angeles, we do not really have "weather" so if we get any at all, it is sort of a big deal. It was supposed to rain last night, but did not.

My better-half came downstairs a few minutes later and gave me a smile, in that cute way he does.

after a few more sips of coffee, I headed to the shower, cleaned up, tried to look as presentable as possible based on my early "lack of interest." On the way into work I called my Mom. After my arrival, I stumbled upon a co-worker who is extra contrary today for some reason. This particular co-worker is very competitive and can be just a little over power hungry. I just smile and nod, "oh . . . OK." Lol

Went to lunch and had a nice chat with two co-workers. Came back and it is very cold outside. Have been texting my Niece in between things. She is so cute. She makes me smile.

Side-bar, love my new iphone. Is supposed to get a few upgrades next week from the Mac World conference in San Francisco. Whoo Hoo! Gotta like that.

No plans tonight, May go and see the Salvador Dali exhibit at LACMA on Saturday.

it is catchy, for awhile they were using it here as music to accompany an ad. Which sort of turned it from catchy to tired in about 2.2 seconds. lol
