I found it! I have been looking for this magazine cover for well over 4 years. Listed as one of the most desirable magazine covers of all time. The nearly 40 year old magazine complete with very little wear/tear and in excellent condition. The image of Andy Warhol drowning in a can of Campbell's tomato soup is from the pre-digital photo editing time. Art directed by George Lois who some would say saved Esquire magazine from a swift sink into bankruptcy by transforming it into one of the most visually provocative publications of the last half century.
The magazine is from May of 1969. More than rare and I am more than thrilled. This one is going to the framer soon.
Update on our Vegas trip soon.
