Good Morning Sunshine!

Good Morning Sunshine! Lol, that is how I greet my better half nearly every morning. It is sort of cloudy and overcast here in Southern California today. This past weekend was pretty fun, Friday evening we packed our bags and headed to San Diego. Saturday morning we woke up to a beautiful day and had some coffee and pastries. After we enjoyed our morning, we decided to go to Balboa Park. It is a great park in San Diego with so much to see and do. Balboa Park has many museums and botanical areas along with many forms of architecture. Here are a few photos.

Sunday, after our drive back to Los Angeles, we hung out and played Grand Theft Auto IV. What a fun game it is, the graphics are really well done and to think I only ruined about 8 cars. Lol

I hope this finds you relaxed and refreshed after your weekend. What did you do?

Oh and most importantly, Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Thank you for the great pictures from Balboa Park. It brings back many memories from my last visit in 1998. Balboa Park is/was also known for some other "recreational" activities. ;-)

I have always wanted to go to Balboa Park, but haven't had a chance yet. Went to the San Diego Zoo some three years ago now and I loved it there, so I'm sure this place (as the pics prove) is prolly very very pretty.

OMG, seeing some of the scenes of Balboa park took me right back to college (like a real physical response in my chest)! I have pics. of me and my friends on the roots of that big old tree. We used to hang at that park a lot! Haven't been there since 1988. Whew! Amazing. :) Now I live in OR., and haven't been to a park quite that cool in a long time!
