I baked a cake . . . and I liked it

Ha! Yesterday, I did bake a cake. It was a cake I had never baked before, it is called "Gooey Cake." I had noticed a photo in a magazine, saying that it was really good and a reason to visit St. Louis. So, I googled it, got the recipe and it was one of the easiest cakes I've ever made. More important, it was DELICIOUS!

If ya want to give it a go! Here's the recipe, try it, ya might like it. HA!

Mrs. Knobbes Gooey Butter Cake

1 nine x thirteen cake

1 egg
1/2 cup butter
1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (16 ounce) box powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

1.Mix the cake mix with 1 egg and the butter and pat into a greased cake pan.
2.Mix and pour the remaining ingredients over the cake.
3.Bake at 350F for 35 minutes.
4.Dust the top with powdered sugar.

Enjoy! I hope everyone is doing well. Its raining here again. UGH!

About a boy, - I think its called "Gooey" cause the part you add after . . . stays somewhat gooey. 8-)

The name of the cake seems to imply one that is absolutely loaded with stuff you know you'll regret eating. But the ingredients seem rather "light." It may have to be something it try. :-)
