Continuing on our journey we drove to the Washington coast.
Next, we drove to the Lake Quinault Lodge. It sits on the edge of Lake Quinault, and has no televisions, no telephones in the hotel rooms, and limited cell phone service. As the sun went down, the hotel staff arranged chairs on the lakeshore and started fires. It is a great place to visit. As you can see, it sits inside a grove of majestic trees. That night, we enjoyed sitting in the adirondack chairs on the lawn while we drank wine.
The next morning, we drove over to Port Townsend, Washington. we saw some sights along the way.
After visiting, we boarded the ferry back to Seattle.
As I have said several times, we had a great adventure. Words and photos do not do what we experienced justice. I hope you are able to go and experience something beautiful soon, if not now.

I did that trip 2 years ago and had an absolute blast. I drove out to Neah Bay and walked out to the point. I was the only one in the whole place, it was April and really very interesting as was the Hoh. I loved it! Would like to do it again.
