New Years Day in LA.

So, I hope everyone is recovered and doing well on this first day of 2009. Here are images of my 1st day of 09. Enjoy.

Good Morning paper and coffee. I was thrilled, I found my favorite coffee . . .Arabian Mocha Sanani from Starbucks.

I hope we can all stay stylish and Chic this new year. Although, based on economic predictions, looks like it may be a good time to get back to basics.

Often on New Year's Day, I like to go visit the ocean. Its a good thinking place, also it gives me perspective.

Later that morning, I drove inland. At the top of Beverly Hills, bordering Mulholland Drive is Franklin Canyon Park.

On the way back into the city, I stopped by the house Bugsy Segal lived and was killed in.

Working my way through the city, I pulled into The Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It was rather interesting.

Including Johnny Ramone's Grave.

This more than proud Duck.

More than a few sunbathing Canadians.

Then, I headed home, down Wilshire Boulevard.

Update, one Lemon Cake! A lady I work with gave out Meyer Lemons, so . . . I made a cake.

So, what did you do on New Year's Day? How was the first day of 2009 for you?
