Shake-n-bake?

Good Morning everyone,

Wow! Yesterday was a shaker, huh? Yesterday evening, I drove home and was hard pressed to find anything even slightly moved. I did have to go and assure our cat that everything was ok and that it was safe to come out from under the bed. He does this every time we have an earthquake. All of the sudden he gets this odd look in his eye and takes off, there is no stopping him. A few seconds later we feel the house move. He always goes under the bed and waits until one of us come and let him know everything is ok. No intention to discount those who had damage or were afraid.

So, it has been awhile, but here are a few images of our Kayaking trip in La Jolla, California. It was great and I recommend it to everyone. It was through a company called La Jolla Kayak, check them out.

Ok, so you know how I love taking photos. So please keep in mind these images were taken with a disposable water proof camera. lol

Notice the Sea Lions sunning themselves on the rocks.

I hope everyone is having a brilliant Wednesday.

Nice pics ... I've only been kayaking once. I got extremely burnt and was exhausted. Never been back since :(

anthony, - I can easily see how both of those things could happen. We were fortunate to have overcast sky when we went. The sun was coming out just as we were finishing our tour. I found it a great upper body work out. We plan on trying kayaking in the Marina soon.

Pics are beautiful - I love kayaking. I try and get up to the mountains at least once a year for a good run.

By the way, I'm glad you (and the cat) are alright! I like little earthquakes, the ones that don't damage anything but shake the ground up a bit. I've never been in a big one.
